Victorian Government has expanded pathway for international students
International student graduates will have more time to access the Skilled Regional visa (subclass 491)

The Victorian Government will reserve at least 500 nomination places for subclass 491 visa for international student graduates of Victorian educational institutions.
Graduates currently living and working in Melbourne will also be able to submit a Registration of Interest for Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) visa nomination. However, once the visa is granted, they'll need to relocate to regional Victoria.
This step has been taken to provide more opportunities for international graduates to settle in regional Victoria.
